Monday, February 6, 7 p.m.Award-winning author Ellis Avery will read from and sign her second novel, The Last Nude. Set in Paris in the 1920s, The Last Nude envisions an affair between Art Deco painter, Tamara de Lempicka and Rafaela, the model behind the artist's most celebrated works. Avery is the author of The Teahouse Fire, winner of the American Library Association Stonewall Fiction Award. She teaches fiction writing at Columbia University and lives in New York City.
