Local author Debbie Jorde presents her new memoir recounting the challenges of raising two children with a rare, disabling disorder known as Miller syndrome, Eight Fingers and Eight Toes. Jorde shares the valuable insights she gained while raising her children, Heather and Logan, and how she overcame her own personal challenges. She hopes that by sharing what she learned, she can help others.

Jorde has been nominated as The Wasatch Woman of the year 2011 by Wasatch Woman magazine. She and her children are also frequently asked to lecture to medical professionals.
