Jonathan Evison will read from and sign his novel, West of Here, recently released in paperback.
Set in the fictional town of Port Bonita, on Washington State’s rugged Pacific coast, this is an ambitious epic, spanning 100 years and embracing hundreds of fully realized characters.
Evison has created a saga of the American dream with a vengeance in West of Here and has managed to make us laugh and cry in the process.
Evison lives with his family and a rambunctious assortment of dogs and rabbits on Bainbridge Island, Washington. At least, that is, when he is not living and writing in his 1970-era Winnebago.
