International Book Group

Join the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy’s International Book Group and “try on another life for size!"

The Group reads for pleasure to learn about other countries, customs, and cultures through fiction and non-fiction. Books will be big and little, but will always seek to look at the world from a human perspective.

Participants need not read the literature to enjoy the informal discussions, but it is highly recommended. Please register in person at The King’s English Bookshop or email Wendy Foster Leigh, Book Group Leader. Registration is free and open to all.

Books are available for purchase at The King’s English or online. Indicate that you are a member of the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy and receive a 10% discount.

About Wendy Foster Leigh - Book Group Leader

My parents brought me to the United States through Ellis Island in 1947, on a transformed troop ship, from Southampton, England. The mixture of languages and cultures whetted my appetite for travel, but not the desire to travel by sea again! My journeys take place through the stories and adventures of others. I am retired, after 40+ years in the “ed-business,” and enjoy living the lives of others through books. I work part-time at The King’s English also lead a mystery book group of Armchair Travel Mystery readers.
