Ben Fountain | David P. Gardner Lecture

Ben Fountain authored the short-story collection Brief Encounters with Che Guevara, the radio piece “Haiti is Destiny” for This American Life, the novel Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, and the creative nonfiction essay collection Beautiful Country Burn Again.  Fountain’s award-winning texts are rich in history, politics, and current affairs, and his prose is steeped in literary allusion, technique, and careful research.

Fountain will be in conversation with Doug Fabrizio of KUER.
