Joy Preble | Haunted

Thursday, March 31, 7 p.m.

Young adult author Joy Preble will be reading from and signing copies of her new book, Haunted.

Haunted is the continuation of Preble's first book, Dreaming Anastasia. Picking up right where the first book left off, we follow Anna as she continues to sort her way through her paranormal life. But this time she has a strange, wild-haired woman on her tail. Full of love, magic and adventure these books draw from Russian folklore, setting themselves apart from most other paranormal fiction.

Joy Preble’s experience with Russian legends developed through her crazy maternal grandmother, who had been one of TWENTY children! Originally from Chicago, she earned a degree at Northwestern University. She has since replaced the endless snow and ice of Chicago for the overpowering heat of Texas. She is a wife, a mother and a high school English teacher living in Conroe, Texas.
