We are so very excited to welcome celebrated children's author and illustrator Marc Brown to the bookstore!
Celebrate the 35th anniversary of the creation of Brown's well known character, the aardvark, Arthur Read.
In this new adventure, Arthur Turns Green, Arthur focuses on turning his home green by recycling, unplugging his mom's cellphone charger, and replacing conventional light bulbs with energy-saving bulbs. D.W., however, is getting worried. Why are Arthur's hands turning green? What is the "Big Machine?" Thanksfully, in the end, all misunderstandings are worked out and kids learn about going green and have fun in the process.
This is the first new Arthur picture book in almost ten years!
Marc Brown is the creator of the bestselling Arthur Adventure book series and co-developer of the children's PBS television series, Arthur. He has also created a second book series, featuring D.W., Arthur's little sister, as well as numerous other books for children. Marc Brown lives with his family in Tisbury, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard.
