Get Your Creative Juices Flowing!
The contest, an annual birthday event, is open to writers and artists of all ages. So explore your creativity! This year's theme is "Once Upon a Time at the Bookshop." Entries will be compiled in an anthology, Turning Pages: The King's English at 40, to be published by TKE and available for purchase from the bookshop later this year.
Saturday, September 9, 4 p.m. Contest participants will gather at TKE to hear their work read aloud for the judges (TKE booksellers) and audience. Prizes will be given for Most Original Written Word and Most Original Visual Image in two age categories (12 and under/13 and up) and Best in Show.
This event is part of the bookshop's day-long fortieth birthday party celebration!
