Utah Poetry Festival Celebration of Chapbooks

Tonight on The King's English Bookshop patio we will host the Celebration of Chapbooks- an in-person reading to celebrate new and recent chapbooks by Robert Baldwin, Aaron Cance, Melissa Salguero, Lisa Roullard, Susan Sample, Natalie Taylor, Candace Thomas and Sunni Brown Wilkinson. Books will be available for sale during the event. Masks are required when entering the bookshop.

The 2022 Utah Poetry Festival will be hybrid, with a variety of events taking place in person and virtually throughout the month of April across Utah. Core festival events will feature poetry workshops, readings, virtual craft talks on poetry and poetics, a K-12 original poem contest, and a virtual chapbook-making tutorial.

The Utah Poetry Festival is hosted by Utah’s poet laureate, Paisley Rekdal.

The Utah Poetry Festival is free and open to the public. Virtual events can be watched live or streamed later via the Utah Humanities YouTube channel. In-person events will strictly follow CDC-recommended protocol for Covid-19. View the schedule to register. Festival attendees must register for each event they wish to attend.
