Kristen Chandler lives at the base of the Wasatch mountains with her husband and their herd of eight children, two dogs, and an old cat. In addition to writing, she is an equine instructor for at-risk youth. She has trained mustangs and followed wild herds on horseback in the Red Desert of Wyoming. As a teen, she went from small town to small town showing Quarter horses, getting into more trouble than she meant to, and eventually qualifying for the American Quarter Horse Association National Finals.
Signed copies of all Kristen's titles are available on our shelves. To order a personalized copy, specify in the "notes" field when ordering through kingsenglish.com. Personalized orders will be filled as quickly as possible.

"The idea flashes across my mind that even if I go to jail, or to the hospital, maybe tonight, this moment, is worth it."
When Cassidy Carrigan’s dad moves out and her best friend dumps her, her anxiety escalates out of control. Her mother’s “cure” is to boot her off to a remote horse ranch in the mountains of Wyoming. Never mind that she’s terrified of horses. Never mind that Justin, the junior wrangler who is supposed to teach her to ride, is more messed up than she is. A contemporary Western love story, full of reckless cowgirls, troubled cowboys, wild mustangs and the dangerous things that happen when you put them all together.
Set in the wild, beautiful west, here is a story that tells the unvarnished truth about falling in love when the odds are against you. Alternatingly heart-stopping and heart- breaking, Thief of Happy Endings is a story that will stay with you, like a summer you’ll never forget.
